A Whale Watching Costa Rica Tour Not To Be Missed!

Our Whale Whale watching tour is designed for the marine mammal enthusiasts. Our expert team help create a memorable experience with family and friends in the picturesque setting of the Osa Peninsula and Drake Bay.

The dolphin and whale watching costa rica tour lasts 5-6 hours, and takes you through the bay, the pelagic zones, and around Cano Island. Our intent is spotting various types of wildlife such as Dolphins, Migratory Whales (the months of Jan-March and July-October), coastal birds, sea turtles, and many other species both native and migratory. There are 25 known cetacean species to frequent Costa Rica waters, and Osa is surely a hotspot for them!

Costa Rica Humpback Whales come in two different migrations from different points of the world. This gives Drake Bay the opportunity to relish in the longest season of Humpback Whales in the world. The two migrations come from both North and South America. The Humpback Whales swim some of the longest migration routes known to an animal to come to the warm tropical waters off of Drake Bay to breed and give birth to their young.

One of our knowledgeable captains and tour guides will lead you through the ocean landscape, maybe stopping for lunch along the way, or eating from the boat. We can’t wait to share the many wonders of our unique ecosystem.
