San Pedrillo is the closer of the two Corcovado ranger stations most easily accessed from Drake Bay.

San Pedrillo is the closest ranger station in Corcovado National Park from Drake Bay. To get there takes just 25 minute scenic boat ride.
The Station is surrounded by Primary Rainforest with an excellent network of trails that border the rocky beaches, a waterfall, streams and small rivers that drain right in to the ocean.

The wildlife here is absolutely amazing. The birdlife is not the exception since there are species of bird that you barely will hear or see if you don’t get to the first growth area.
Target species here are White-throated Shrike-tanager, Great Currasow, White-tipped Sicklebill, Golden-crowned Spadebill, Russet Antshrike and Rufous Piha.
The station is located right in front of the beach next to the San Pedrillo river mouth. The station has restrooms ,picnic area and showers available for all visitors.
