Sunset Bird Walk
Come experience the best of Drake Bay birdwatching on our Evening Bird Walk.
The evening bird walk is a highlight of our birding tours. It lends a perfect setting for all sorts of avian thrills. The afternoon hours cool off the atmosphere, and it is enjoyed by both birds and humans. It’s a peak time from for activity, and a suitable time to be active in the jungle while watching the sun set for the day in Drake Bay. For our photography enthusiast, it’s a great time to capture that flying macaw or toucan in the perfect afternoon light.
Our experienced guides will help you to identify the bird species using their expertise and knowledge of the different species behavior and food sources, as well as their colors, sizes, and their vocalizations. On a typical tour we can spot different Tanagers, Toucans, birds of prey, Motmots, Trogons, Flycatchers, hummingbirds and more.
The hike is around 2.5 hours. The level of intensity is dependent on our guests. All of our hikes are customized per group level.
There is a minimum of 2 people for this tour. When booking, please ‘check availability’ first on the right hand side. A tour leader will confirm the tour’s availability.
